To all departments and employees of the company:
Our company recently received an 'Altium Compliance Letter' from Juwu Tengyun Internet of Things (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned Chinese subsidiary of Altium, Australia), which stated that 'your company's employees have installed and used Altium software without authorization.' After internal verification and investigation by our company, no installation or use of Altium Designer (Protel) software was found on any of the company's computers, and there is no copyright dispute regarding the above software. In order to further strengthen the company's internal management and prevent such phenomena from occurring, the company has made the following decisions:
1. The company prohibits employees from using office computers to download or install pirated software. Any registration of office software related to work must be approved in writing by the company to prevent infringement of the intellectual property rights of third parties. All legal responsibilities arising from violations shall be borne by the individual.
2. The company prohibits any employee from installing and using paid software, fonts, pictures, etc. that require copyright.
If temporary installation is required for personal study, it should be uninstalled by the individual within the copyright license test period.
